2008 National Indoor Championship and 2008 National JOAD Indoor Championship

The 2008 National Indoor Championship and 2008 National JOAD Indoor Championship is held in a dozen different locations across the country in late February and early March.

The National Indoor Championship is a 1200 round usually shoot over two days. The National JOAD Indoor Championship is a single 600 round. Note how Bowman and Cubs score at the National JOAD Indoor Championship, recurve archers compete on a 60 cm face and compound archers score the outer 10 ring of a 40 cm face.

"Indoor target archery is where most JOADs begin competing because the distance is only about 60 feet (18 meters), yet it is the same distance as the FITA Indoors World Championships. JOADs are lucky to be able to compete in two USAA National Championships during one trip." said Bob Pian USAA JOAD Committee Co Chair.

On time registrations are due February 8, 2008.
